NSW: Green Lantern to be shot in Sydney

While no-one's yet been confirmed in the lead role for comic superhero Green Lantern
.. the big-budget movie adaptation begins filming in Sydney from November.

Directed by MARTIN CAMPBELL .. the man behind the 2006 James Bond film Casino Royale
.. the movie's expected to create around 500 jobs in New South Wales .. with six to nine
month's worth of filming.

There have been rumours the green hero will be played by CHRIS PINE .. who's currently
starring as a young James T Kirk in the new Star Trek movie.
