NSW: Mayne hospital workers' pay guaranteed - union
SYDNEY, Feb 3 AAP - The jobs and pay of around 1,500 Mayne Group employees were protectedunder the healthcare company's agreement to sell six hospitals, the Health Services Unionof Australia (HSUA) said today.
Mayne is selling six private hospitals in Sydney, the ACT, Victoria and Tasmania, to Healthscope.
HSUA national secretary Craig Thomson said he had secured a guarantee that all staffwould remain employed and continue to receive the same or better wages and conditions.
