Qld: Man stabbed in north Queensland

BRISBANE, Aug 6 AAP - Police in north Queensland are investigating the death of a man
found outside a home with stab wounds overnight.

Ambulance workers were called to the home in Gattenby Close, Edmonton, south of Cairns,
just before midnight.

The victim had stab wounds to the chest and died a short time later.

Police said he was aged between 20 and 25 but had yet to be identified.

A woman was assisting police with their enquiries.
