NSW: Sydney ferries stop for five hours today

SYDNEY, Dec 19 AAP - Sydney ferries will be out of action for five hours today while
staff discuss their latest pay offer.

Ferries will remain at wharves for five hours from 9am (AEDT), returning at 2pm to
transport afternoon peak hour commuters.

The Maritime Union has been negotiating for the past seven months on a new deal with
the State Transit Authority.
